29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, pinch points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks:  a)  Rough Mill, on or about 3/22/17:  Pinch points and ingoing nip points on the infeed rollers for the Raimann ripsaw were not guarded.  b)  Rough Mill, on or about 3/22/17:  Ingoing nip points on the infeed conveying belt and pulley for the Powermat moulder 1200 were not adequately guarded.  c)  Machine Sanding, on or about 3/23/17:  Rotating spindle end and nut projection on a State vertical spindle sander were not guarded.  d)  Machine Sanding, on or about 3/23/17:  Ingoing nip points on the return conveyor belts and pulleys drive for the Heesemann wide belt sander were not adequately guarded.  e)  Sample Shop, on or about 3/23/17:  Rotating spindle end and nut projection on a Max vertical spindle sander were not guarded.  f)  Maintenance Shop, on or about 3/23/17:  Rotating chuck on a Dayton 20 inch drill press was not guarded.  g)  Fine Mill, on or about 3/29/17:  Pinch points created by the closing Plexiglas guards on the 246 Linear Shaper were not adequately guarded in that the two hand trips did not prevent access into the area.
