29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment was not used when machines or operations presented potential eye injury.    a) On or about March 23, 2017:  an employee was observed operating a nail gun while installing bracing elements to secure roof trusses and was not wearing safety glasses, exposing the employee to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):      a) On or about March 23, 2017: an employee was observed installing bracing elements to secure the trusses at a height of approximately 12 feet from lower level and was not protected by safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor was employee provided with an alternative fall protection measure; the employee was exposed to a 12-feet fall hazard.     Father N Sons Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1097166, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on December 16, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 341 Trellis Bay Rd Saint Augustine, FL 32092.
