29 CFR 1910.304(b)(4)(ii)(B): Where connected to a branch circuit supplying two or more receptacles or outlets, a receptacle supplied a total cord- and plug-connected load in excess of the maximum specified in Table S-4:  Conference/Break Room: On or about 30 March 2017, a 900-watt Mr. Coffee coffee maker and an 850-watt B&D toaster were plugged into a 15-amp power strip. The 1750-watt load (14 amp current draw) exceeded the 12 amp maximum per Table S-4 which exposed employees to the potential of smoke inhalation and thermal injury to the upper airway due to a fire.
