29 CFR 1910.124(g)(2): Employees who  worked with liquids that could burn, irritate, or otherwise harm their skin were not provided with an emergency shower and eye-wash station close to the dipping and coating operation:    (a) On March 31, 2017, Skild Plating, Inc., did not provide emergency shower and eyewash station close to the hexavalent chromium dipping and coating operation, including the acid etch line.  Water hoses were present near the area, but employees were instructed not to be use them in lieu of an eyewash and safety shower.     Note:  In place of this equipment,  the employee may use a water hose that is at least 4 feet (1.22 m) long and at least 3/4 of an inch (18 mm) thick with a quick-opening valve and carrying a pressure of 25 pounds per square inch (1.62 k/cm2) or less.
