29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about March 29, 2017, during the installation of siding material at a job site located at 7133 Galena Ave NW, Canal Fulton, Ohio 44614; the employer did not ensure an employee standing on the roof of a single family home installing siding material was protected from a fall of approximately 21.3 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. The Fairview Exteriors Llc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1926.501(b)(13) Residential Construction, Duty to have fall protection), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1166139, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/28/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5479 Coverdale Rd, Medina, Ohio 44256.
