1910.178(m)(3) Unauthorized personnel shall not be permitted to ride on powered industrial trucks. A safe place to ride shall be provided where riding of trucks is authorized.  Employees engaged in inventory within the warehouse were exposed to fall hazards in that employees were being raised up on the forks of powered industrial truck approximately six to nine feet to read labels on pallets when conducting inventory.
