29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): Fall Protection. Training requirements. "Training Program." The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a) Roof top at 7 Swisher Drive in Cartersville, Georgia: On or about March 14, 2014 and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall from height; in that adequate training in hazard recognition and hazard avoidance procedures were not provided to employees before being expected to perform debris (roofing felt) removal tasks and other prep duties.
