29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At the construction of The Preserve at the Villages in Bradenton: (a) Employees doing sheeting work on the roof of a garage building were exposed to a fall of more than 9 feet (distance from the eave to the next lower level). The employees were observed on or about 04/05/2017. (b) Employee doing carpentry work on an open sided balcony at the third floor of building 4 was exposed to a fall of approximately 30 feet (distance to the next lower level according to blueprints). The employee was observed on or about 04/05/2017. (c) Employees doing carpentry work on the mailbox building were exposed to a fall of 9 feet (distance to the next lower level according to blueprints). The employees were observed on or about 04/05/2017.
