29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. Production area - On or about April 3. 2017, in the facility, authorized employees were required to perform maintenance and/or service on various machinery including, but not limited to, the Sifter, Cluster and Rinse Line #1 Oiler. The employer did not conduct periodic inspections of the energy control procedures at least annually to ensure that the procedures and the requirements of the standard were being followed.
