OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to fire and or explosion hazards. a) Lower Marshmallow Cooking Area, Dust collector Unit # 1509 - On or about April 13, 2017, employees were exposed to combustible dust explosion and fire hazards from a Donaldson Torit Model SDF-6 Dust Collector Unit that was located inside the building without being vented to the outside or provided with proper explosion suppression systems. b) Lower Marshmallow Cooking Area, Dust collector Unit # 1815 - On or about April 13, 2017, employees were exposed to combustible dust explosion and fire hazards from a Donaldson Torit Model SDF-6 Dust Collector Unit that was located inside the building without being vented to the outside or provided with proper explosion suppression systems. c) Sugar Coloring Area, Dust collector Unit # 1520 - On or about April 13, 2017, employees were exposed to combustible dust explosion and fire hazards from a Donaldson Torit Model 90 CAB Dust Collector Unit that was located inside the building without being vented to the outside or provided with proper explosion suppression systems. d) Sugar Coloring Area, Dust collector Unit # 1813 - On or about April 13, 2017, employees were exposed to combustible dust explosion and fire hazards from a Donaldson Torit Model VS1500 Dust Collector Unit that was located inside the building without being vented to the outside or provided with proper explosion suppression systems.
