29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): Within twenty-four (24) hours after the in-patient hospitalization of one or more employees or an employee's amputation or an employee's loss of an eye, as a result of a work-related incident, you must report the in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye to OSHA:  a. On or about April 8, 2017, the employer failed to inform OSHA within 24 hours after the hospitalization of one of their employees fro a work related accident.  The employer was advised of the victim's accident at 11:30 AM on April 8, 2017 and was advised of the hospitalization on April 8, 2017 later that day.  He did not call OSHA until April 10, 2017 at 6:53 AM.
