29 CFR 1910.28(b)(13)(ii): The employer did not ensure that when work was performed at least 6 feet (1.6 m) but less than 15 feet (4.6 m) form the roof edge, that employees were protected form falling by using a guardrail system, safety, safety net system, travel restraint system, or personal fall arrest system. (a) On or about April 19, 2017, and at times prior, approximately 17 maintenance department employees were exposed to fall from height hazards due to work 115 inches (9.6 feet) from an unprotected edge that is more than 4 feet above a lower level. Abatement note: Abatement certification and documentation is required for this item (see enclosed Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
