29 CFR 1926.850(a): Evidence in writing was not available that an engineering survey performed by a competent person had been performed prior to permitting employee(s) to start demolition operations: On or about March 28, 2017, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that a survey was performed identifying potential and/or existing hazards prior to engaging physically in demolition type operations and/or where demolition work had taken place. This condition exposed employees to hazards such as, but not limited to, energized electrical equipment/wiring and asbestos.
