OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees from work platform collapse.     a)  On or about April 24, 2017 and at times prior thereto, four employees were working from a man-made scissor lift trailer to string hops lines.  The platform was elevated approximately 11 feet and dropped approximately 6 feet. The platform was not equipped with a system to prevent free descent in the event of failure of the lifting mechanism.    NOTE: Abatement certification is required for this item.
