29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level shall be protected from falling to that lower level. Paragraphs (g)(1)(i) through (vii) of this section establish the types of fall protection to be provided to the employees on each type of scaffold. Located along the front area of the residential structure there were employees observed performing masonry brick installation associated operations from a three end frame section high self-supported tubular welded frame scaffolding system which was not protected by standard guardrails or other conventional fall protection systems exposing the employees to fall potentials in excess of 13 and 17 feet. Salvador G. Gonzalez Dba. Chava Gonzalez Masonry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926. 451 (g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1047698, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 3, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 5487 Walkers Ct., Hamilton OH 45011 .
