29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): 29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(v): A safety harness with lanyard attached to the boom or basket was not worn by employee(s) working from an aerial lift: On or about April 28, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees traveling in an aerial lift were protected from falling from the basket area by use of a safety harness and lanyard. Employees were observed utilizing the aerial lift to descend from the roof area of the building to the ground level. Fall arrest devices were available inside the lift but not utilized.
