There were openings of over 4 inches by 4 inches in a guard placed about 4 inches above the rotating screw auger.   The AJINOMOTO was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29CFR 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1114133, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 8-2-2016, with respect to a workplace located at #2 Industrial Drive, Piedmont, Missouri.
