29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: (Construction Reference 1926.103) (a) On April 28, 2017, an employee performing sanding of a concrete floor at a construction site located at 200 E. Ryan Road Oak Creek, Wisconsin 53154, used a 3M elastomeric half-mask respirator with facial hair that would interfere with the seal of the unit.
