29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) On or about April 10, 2017 and at times prior, L&S Exteriors, Inc., did not ensure that the employees were protected from falls while working at heights greater than 6 feet. Employees of L&S Exteriors, Inc. were exposed to fall hazards in excess of 10 feet while engaged in roofing activities on the roof of a multi-residential building with no fall protection in place. L&S Exteriors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1068235, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 12001 E. Harvard Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.

29 CFR 1926.501(c): When employees were exposed to falling objects the employer did not require employees to wear hard hats and did not implement measures to prevent objects from falling from higher levels as set forth in (c)(1)-(3) of this section: a) On or about April 10, 2017 and at times prior, L&S Exteriors, Inc., did not ensure that the employees were wearing a hard hat while working under roofing activities. Employees were exposed to overhead hazards while working on the first level roof and cleaning activities on the ground level without wearing a hard hat. L&S Exteriors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1068235, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on July 27, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 12001 E. Harvard Ave., Aurora, CO 80014.
