29 CFR 1910.213(b)(6): Operating treadle(s) on woodworking machine(s) were not protected against unexpected or accidental tripping: a) Sizing Area : On or about May 1, 2017, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to amputation hazards in that the operating treadle on the chop saw was not sufficiently guarded to prevent accidental tripping causing an amputation to an employee operating the machine.
