29 CFR 1926.652(g)(2): Excavations of earth material to a were greater than 2 feet (.61 m) below the bottom of a shield.  a) On or about May 1, 2017:  The employer utilized a trench shield to protect employees in a trench with a depth of 11 feet.   The shield was resting on a ledge more than 3 feet from the base on trench.  NOTE:  This item was corrected during the inspection.
