29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer shall conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirements of this standard are being followed. Production Area - On or about May 2, 2017, in facility, authorized employees were required to perform maintenance and/or service on various machinery including, but not limited to K-S. Paddle Dryer (Q3024 Cake dryer). The employer did not conduct periodic inspections of the energy control procedures at least annually to assure that the procedures and requirements of the standard were being followed.
