29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.  a) Jobsite - The employer did not ensure that each employee working on an upper level was protected from fall hazards of approximately twelve (12) feet in height. Employees accessing those stairwells were exposed to fall hazards down a stair well of approximately eight (8) feet.  Observed on or about 07 APR 2017.
