Celina, OH, 45822: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while performing roofing activities on top of a multi-family residential structure.  During this activity, employees were exposed to falls up to 30 ft. to the ground below.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:      a) Rike's Roofing and Remodeling, on or about May 08, 2017, at the address of 6760 Dibble Road. Celina, OH, 45822: The Employer did not ensure that employees had been trained in the appropriate use of fall protection such as but not limited to the use of personal fall arrest systems or alternative measures while performing various wood framing operations from elevated surfaces.
