29 CFR 1926.200(g)(1):  Construction areas were not posted with legible traffic signs at points of hazard:  At 2705 Compton Avenue, St. Louis, MO, specifically at the northbound and southbound lanes, the employer did not post legible traffic signs at the advanced warning area for the three day old work zone to ensure compliance with the Manual Uniform Traffic Code and Devices (MUTCD), 1988 Edition, Revision 3, or Part IV of the MUTCD Millennium Edition, which were incorporated by reference.  The excavation and Caterpillar Backhoe, m/n 303CR, were located in the northbound lane of Compton Avenue.  This violation was observed on 05/10/17.
