On or about 5/10/17 in the shop: A Porter metal saw was not provided with point of operation guarding that would prevent employee contact with the moving blade. Abatement certification is required for this item. Austin Mohawk and Company, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 900553, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 5/16/13, with respect to a workplace located at 2175 Beechgrove Place, Utica, 13501.
