29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) 23951 US Highway 98 Fairhope, Al: On or about May 11, 2017, and at times prior; the employer allowed his employee to perform cleanup activities without fall protection exposing employee to a fall hazard of ten (10) feet to the concrete ground below. b) 23951 US Highway 98 Fairhope, Al: On or about May 11, 2017, and at times prior; employee exited the roof by using the cross-bracing on the inside wall instead of a proper ladder exposing him to fall from various height.
