29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Electric equipment had damaged parts that could adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: A. On or about May 17, 2017, near bay 45: The GE A Series 120/208V, 225 amp panel board showed evidence of damage. Screws were missing from the dead front, which allowed it to shift, leaving a quarter inch gap on the right of the 20 amp breakers. Two blanks beneath the breakers on the right side of the panel were loose. The openings could allow the entry of foreign objects such as screws or dust into the panel, which could cause it to overheat.

On or about May 17, 2017 near Bay 45: The working space in front of the 120/208V, 225 amp GE A Series electrical panel was blocked by the placement of a pallet of product wrapped in black plastic. The panel provided power to battery charging units and other equipment in the warehouse.
