29 CFR 1910.1200(b)(4)(iii): In work operations where employees only handle chemicals in sealed containers which are not opened under normal conditions of use, the employer did not ensure that employees were provided with information and training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200(h) to the extent necessary to protect them in the event of a spill or leak of a hazardous chemical for a sealed container: On or about May 5, 2017, at worksite located at Building 9, JFK International Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430: Employees who handle sealed drums of chemicals while working as screeners and breakdown agents at the host site, Worldwide Flight Services air cargo operation at Building 9, did not receive the appropriate training to allow them to properly respond to spills or leaks of hazardous chemicals. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19

29 CFR 1904.40(a): The employer did not provide an authorized government representative the records within the four business hours: On or about October 6, 2017, concerning inspection of worksite located at Building 9, JFK International Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430: Despite repeated requests, including on October 6, 2017 and October 12, 2017, the company did not respond to OSHA request for copies of OSHA injury and illness records, specifically Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (form 300) for the years 2014-16 and 2017 to date, and Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses (form 300A) for 2014-2016. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
