29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation.    On or about May 10, 2017, on the roof of garage located North of Building I, employees were observed operating pneumatic nail guns without utilizing any means of eye protection exposing the employees to a struck-by hazard.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:    a.  On or about May 10, 2017, on the roof of garage, where employee was exposed to a fall hazard exceeding  six feet when installing shingles at the edge of the roof without a fall protection system.    b.  On or about May 10, 2017, on the steep roof of a multi-family dwelling, employees were exposed to a fall hazard exceeding six feet when performing roofing work without a fall protection system.
