29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems.   On or about May 16, 2017, located on the south end of the jobsite where employees were exposed to a fall hazard greater than 6 feet when installing wood framing for an awning without a fall protection system.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   On or about May 16, 2017, located on the east end of the jobsite where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when using an extension ladder to access an awning without extending the ladder 3 feet beyond the landing of the awning.
