29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2): The employer did not report an in-patient hospitalization, amputation, or loss of an eye as a result of a work-related incident to OSHA within twenty-four (24) hours: a) SMG at 700 14th Street, Denver, CO 80202: On or before 5/16/17, the employer did not report the in-patient hospitalization of an employee who fell while descending from the upper roof of the Convention Center. An employee experienced a serious injury on May 9, 2017 when he fell approximately 15 feet while using a ladder. The employee was admitted to the hospital on May 9, 2017. OSHA opened an inspection on May 16, 2017, and the employer had not yet reported the in-patient hospitalization. This condition resulted in the failure to report an in-patient hospitalization within 24 hours.
