OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees as employee were exposed to crushing hazards. a) Jobsite - MD Basciani & Sons new mushroom house, mushroom shelves - The employer did not ensure the chain sling supporting a compost pan was adequately secured. On December 28, 2016, the sling slipped and injured an employee.
