29 CFR 1910.1030(c)(1)(i): The employer having employee(s) with occupational exposure did not establish a written Exposure Control Plan designed to eliminate or minimize employee exposure: On or about May 17, 2017 and times prior there to, the employer did not have a written exposure control plan where employees were exposed to blood or other potentially infectious materials during procedures such as, but not limited to, administering injections and did not address the following: a. maintain a sharps injury log; b. make available the hepatitis B vaccine and vaccination series to employees; and c. provide bloodborne pathogens training.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): Employers shall develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which at least describes how the criteria specified in paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) of this section for labels and other forms of warning, material safety data sheets, and employee information and training will be met, and which also includes the following. The employer had not developed a written hazard communication program for employees performing tasks such as, administering injections and cleaning operations. Employees using products, such as, but not limited to Isopropyl Alcohol and Ethyl Chloride were potentially exposed to skin and respiratory inhalation hazards.
