29 CFR 1910.333(a)(1): Live parts to which an employee may be exposed were not de-energized before the employee worked on or was near to them: Building 1, 4th floor ICU Central Station: On May 16, 2017, energized component(s) were not de-energized prior to employee(s) replacing the electronic ballasts for the lighting system. Employee(s) were exposed to electrical shock hazards up to 277 volts. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard [29 CFR 1910.333(a)(1)], which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1219741, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 12, 2017, with respect to a workplace located at Building 3015, Naval Air Station - Naval Base Ventura County, Point Mugu NAWC, California 93042.
