29 CFR 1926.453(b)(2)(iv): Employees did not always stand firmly on the floor of the basket, and sat or climbed on the edge of the basket or used planks, ladders, or other devices for a work position:  a) 780 Albany Street, Schenectady on May 25, 2017, and at times prior, an employee was working outside the aerial lift standing on the roof ledge 30 feet above the ground, with PFAS connected back to the aerial lift.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems:  a) 780 Albany Street, Schenectady on May 25, 2017, and at times prior, an employee was exposed to a 30 foot fall hazard while working directly on the edge of the roof without fall protection.
