Located along the front steep pitched residential roof deck structure roofing employees were observed performing roof top delivery and roofing bundle spreading associated operations without conventional fall protection systems exposing employees to unprotected sides or edges of the roof deck and fall potential in excess of 13.

29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. Located along the front steep pitched residential roof deck structure roofing employees were observed performing roof top delivery and roofing bundle spreading associated operations without conventional fall protection systems who were not trained or knowledgeable of the procedures or regulations to minimize those hazards.
