29 CFR 1928.57(b)(1)(i): All power take-off shafts, including rear, mid- or side-mounted shafts, shall be guarded either by a master shield, as provided in paragraph (b)(1)(ii) of this section, or by other protective guarding.      1.  On the farm grounds, on or about 5/31/17:  A John Deere 6115 D tractor was hitched to a silage wagon.  The power take-off (PTO) shaft on the tractor was not fully guarded against accidental contact.    2.  On the farm grounds, on or about 5/31/17:  A Roto Grind tub grinder had a PTO shaft which was not fully guarded against accidental contact.    Abatement certification must be submitted for these items.
