OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to burn hazards: a) On or about 05/25/2017 - 345 unit, employees were exposed to being splashed by the sudden release of hot deionized water when transferring DI water at approximately 180 degrees from the heat exchanger to a plastic tote without ensuring the hose was secured prior to opening the valve.
