In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is not required for this violation. The hazardous condition was abated during the inspection.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns. a) North side of newly constructed Trutt's Pharmacy, 55 Walnut Street, Mifflinburg, PA - Employees working on the ground and/or makeshift scaffold transferring twenty five-foot (25') long metal roof panels to employees on the roof were not wearing protective helmets exposing the employees to head injuries in the event that a metal roof panel or hand tools fell, as observed on or about June 1, 2017. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19, abatement certification is not required for this violation. The hazardous condition was abated during the inspection.
