29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) 10 South Prince Street, Lancaster PA; Roof - Employees conducting roofing operations used a ramp placed at the parapet wall to throw roofing debris over the edge of the roof without the use of fall protection and were exposed to an approximate 30 foot fall hazard to the ground below, on or about June 1, 2017. No abatement certification or documentation required. Kautz Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1078030, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 2, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem Pennsylvania 18017.
