29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On the rooftop of the Hyatt Place hotel, on or about May 31, 2017, the employer did not ensure the use of fall protection for employees performing roofing material removal on a 5:12 pitch roof, exposing employees to an approximatel 30-foot fall hazard.
