29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On April 28th, 2017 employees were exposed to an approximant nine foot fall hazard on a 5/12 pitch roof while installing shingles on a commercial roof without the benefit of fall protection equipment next to an unprotected edge in the vicinity of 224 West Broadway Avenue in Bismarck, North Dakota.
