29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest. a. On or about June 7, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees conducting roofing operations were exposed to fall hazards of approximately nine (9) feet six (6) inches and eleven (11) feet six (6) inches above the ground. The employer failed to ensure employees were protected from falling by the use of a guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system.
