Other low voltage electronic computer devices were also plugged into the RPT increasing amp draw and overloading the device.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling:   Relocatable Power Taps (RPTs) were not used in accordance with listing and labeling in that:  (a) In Hearing Room D, two multiple receptacle RPTs with surge protection were connected in series to supply power to a Hyundai flat screen monitor and other electronic equipment creating a fire hazard to employees.  Corrected during inspection.     The Social Security Administration was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 1056672, Notice no. 1, item no. 1, issued on April 27, 2015 with respect to a workplace at Glendora, CA and became a final order on May 21, 2015.  The Social Security Administration was previously cited for a violation of this standard which was contained in OSHA inspection no. 981460, Notice no. 2, item no. 2, issued on July 10, 2014 with respect to a workplace at Bellevue, WA and became a final order on August 7, 2014.
