29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  (a) At a residential construction site located at 1816 Holt Ct in Liberty, MO: Employees were exposed to harmful chemicals that could cause injuries and/or illnesses in that the employer had not developed, or successfully implemented, an effective hazard communication program. This was demonstrated on 6/8/2017 at the residential construction site when 3 employees were exposed to gasoline that was used to power the pneumatic air compressor.  ANTONIO CALERO was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1) as contained in Inspection: No. 1183815, Citation 1, Item 1, issued on January 20, 2017, at a jobsite located at 2132 NE 83rd St, Kansas City, MO.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer should ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation:  (a) At the residential construction site located at 1816 Holt Ct, Liberty, MO - Employees were observed working without eye protection while using pneumatic nail gun and hammers, the employer is failing to ensure that employees are a means of eye protection.  ANTONIO CALERO was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1) as contained in Inspection: No. 1183815, Citation 1, Item 2, issued on January 20, 2017, at a jobsite located at 2132 NE 83rd St, Kansas City, MO.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a) At the residential construction site located at 1816 Holt Ct, Liberty, MO:  The employer is failing to protect employees from hazards associated with falls. Employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on a roof without the use of fall protection. This was demonstrated on 6/2/2017 when employees were allowed to work from an approximate distance 14.3 feet on the eve of the roof to the ground below, and 21 feet on the highest point to the ground below.  ANTONIO CALERO was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) as contained in Inspection: No. 1183815, Citation 1, Item 3, issued on January 20, 2017, at a jobsite located at 2132 NE 83rd St, Kansas City, MO.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:  a) The employer is failing to provide safe access to employees at a residential construction site located at 1816 Holt Ct, Liberty, MO when employees were using portable ladders to gain access to a roof. This was demonstrated on 6/8/2017 when a ladder was being used to gain access to the roof and the ladder was not placed at least 3 feet above the upper landing.  ANTONIO CALERO was previously cited for the same violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) as contained in Inspection: No. 1183815, Citation 1, Item 4, issued on January 20, 2017, at a jobsite located at 2132 NE 83rd St, Kansas City, MO.
