29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Points of operation on a machine whose operation exposes an employee to injury were not fitted with guards, designed and constructed as to prevent the operator from having any part of his body in the danger zone during the operating cycle. (a) Heidelberg Speedmaster Six (6) Color Model SPL 102 printing press: The employer did not insure adequate guarding was provided, and/or integrated in a manner as to protect employees from exposure to the danger zone at the point of operation of the sheet loader while cleaning, clearing and setting up the machine. This exposed employees to caught in, struck by, and crushing hazards.
