29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been  taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s):   Employees were exposed to serious struck by injuries.  The employer did not ensure powered industrial trucks were removed from service when found to be in need of repair, defective or unsafe.  Five powered industrial trucks operated by employees in the yard were found to be in need of repair, these were    A.    Case 586 G, Serial Number JJG01344-16 had no seat belt and its driver seat was torn B.    Taillift had a broken mirror C.    Case 586 C had no seat belt and a broken light D.    Kalamar AC had a broken parking brake E.     Yale Serial number A810N04308V had a broken parking brake and a broken taillight.
