29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) Ascent Builders at 9701 Dahlia Lane Thornton, CO: On or before June 15, 2017, the controlling employer did not ensure subcontractor employees were protected from fall hazards while performing residential roofing activities, in that subcontractor employees did not utilize a fall protection system. Employees wore fall harnesses but were not tied off. This condition exposed subcontractor employees to a fall hazard of approximately 25 feet.
