29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): When the employer had assessed the workplace hazard(s) and determined that hazard(s) were present, the employer did not select and/or use the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee from the hazards identified in the assessment.  Location: Metal Finishing Area  The employer had performed a PPE Assessment, but had neglected to require the use of gloves where irritating and corrosive detergents were being poured.  The employees said that they rarely wore gloves in this area.  Irritant/Corrosive Detergents include:  Oakite 3,  Formula 815GD,  L365 Cleaning and Deburring Compound, and  Chemtrol 400
